Microneedling Aftercare Guide

Congratulations on investing in your skin health with microneedling — one of the most effective treatments for collagen stimulation, refined texture, and long-term glow.

To maximise your results and support your skin’s healing, please follow the aftercare instructions below.

What to Expect After Microneedling

Your skin will go through a few key stages in the days following treatment. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect and how to care for your skin each step of the way.

Day 1: Immediate Aftercare

How your skin may feel:

  • Tight and dry (similar to mild sunburn)

  • Slight redness or sensitivity

Avoid the following:

  • Active ingredients (Acids, retinol, exfoliants)

  • Direct sun exposure

  • Makeup

  • Touching your face

  • Sweating or intense exercise

Do this instead:

  • Keep the skin clean and hydrated

  • Apply Environ A, C & E oil and a gentle moisturiser

  • Use cool compresses, or lukewarm water if your skin feels warm or flushed

Days 1–4: Barrier Support & Hydration

How your skin may feel:

  • Less red but still dry

  • Slightly rough or textured

Recommended routine:

  • Sunscreen: Apply at least twice daily

  • Moisturiser: Use a deeply hydrating moisturiser (like Environ Super Moisturiser)

  • Supportive products: Add Environ AC&E Oil for nourishment

  • Gentle exfoliation: You may use Environ clay masque on Day 4 to lift rough skin 

Still avoid:

  • Harsh actives

  • Intense treatments or scrubs

  • Heat or sweating

Day 5+: Reintroduce & Maintain

How your skin may feel:

  • Some mild flaking

  • Smooth and glowing

You can now:

  • Return to your regular skincare routine (as recommended during consultation)

  • Reintroduce actives and acids if your skin feels calm

  • Book a follow-up LED session to enhance healing and results

Extra Tips for Best Results

  • Stay well hydrated and support your skin from within (omega supplements, gut health, quality sleep)

  • Always wear sunscreen and avoid direct UV exposure

  • Be patient — collagen takes time to build. Peak results may take 4–6 weeks.
